Hello! I’m Brian Bolluyt, founder of Vobis, LLC. About 20 years ago, after working for over a dozen years for several dedicated manufacturers of evaporation, crystallization, and drying technologies, I founded Vobis. It was established with the goal of providing production and pilot process equipment specifically designed to meet individual client’s needs, within their budget and time constraints. I found that by utilizing strategically located manufacturing shops in the United States and around the world, we could provide the best technical and economic solutions for our clients’ applications. We do not offer any “off the shelf” solutions, rather we consult directly with our clients to provide custom systems comprised of the correct integrated components that will accomplish the intended goal in a cost effective and timely manner. CRYSTALLIZATION
Vobis crystallizers are capable of yielding solids from a vast spectrum of product feed or waste streams; our process solutions enable our clients to cost-effectively produce product crystals or reduce waste stream volumes by creating landfill-ready solid crystals. We achieve these goals through designing, building, and delivering a variety of different evaporative or cooling crystallization processing systems designs.
FRACTIONAL DISTILLATION
Vobis fractional distillation systems are designed, manufactured, and implemented at pilot scale through production scale. We provide systems that are modular frame-mounted as well as field-erected. Vobis fractional distillation systems have very competitive capital costs, accelerated deliveries, and low operating costs.
EVAPORATION
Vobis has over 30 years of working experience in the design and manufacture of evaporation pilot plant systems and production scale systems. Our seven different technologies and client specific sizes of pilot evaporators enable our clients to meet a variety of process goals – from laboratory to production scale, including the generation of pilot scale-up data, the production of marketing samples, or the production of products.
SPRAY DRYING
Incorporating the latest spray drying advances, Vobis builds pilot and production spray drying systems on a turnkey basis. To ensure that our clients’ requirements are being met, we can perform preliminary evaluations, formulation development, and scale up pilot plant testing plus small scale toll productio.
